A Special Tip

Remember growing up with the TV commercial singing “Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti Day”?  Many of our ancestors used to have chicken on Sunday, Red Beans and Rice on Monday, Spaghetti on Wednesday, and fish on Friday.  One reason for this is that is makes meal planning much easier if you have a set meal choice to work from!   Set up a schedule for each day of the week and at least you’ll have a starting point.  For instance, Monday - chicken, Tuesday – beef, Wednesday – pasta, Thursday – fish, Friday – pizza.  Then just choose a different recipe variation on the theme, depending on what you have in the house and what you are in the mood for!    Use the Weekly Grocery List to help you develop a plan.
