Gifts

Ever need a gift for a two year old but now that your children are over the age of ten, you can’t remember what it is that two year olds play with? Or how about a gift for that 11-year-old nephew when you’ve got a six-month baby in your arms?

The following three lists provide highly recommended suggestions for age appropriate books, games, and sure-to-please toys. The age range covers from 2 year olds to youth to teens. In addition, information where the item may be purchased is also included.

Do you ever forget what you gave as a gift to someone the year before or even for the last occasion? The Tracking of Gifts folder can be downloaded to your computer so you can input the recipient's name and the gift you gave for each event. This way you won’t duplicate gifts and you’ll also have a ready source of gift ideas for other children/people.

A Special Tip

Writing thank-you notes can be the most dreaded part of birthdays and other gift-giving celebrations. In fact, the follow-up note often gets lost in the pile of things TO DO. However, it is a habit that we all should embrace and pass on to our children.

The Thank-you folder can be downloaded to your computer so you can keep track of gifts received and the completion of the thank-you notes.

Print out the blank form for family members this Christmas and they can fill in what they have received and from whom.  And remind Santa to put a box of new stationary in everyone's stocking!
